What To Wear
One of the most exciting parts of your senior
year of high school is finally here...
your senior portrait session!
Trying to decide on which outfits to wear,
can be pretty tough.
Since your outfits have a big impact on how
your final images will look,
it's important to follow a few guidelines.
You really don't want to look back on your photos
 (in ten years) and wonder...
"Why the heck did I wear that!"
My Tips:

• Dress comfortably and express your true self!!

• Choose a variety of outfits. If you wear a fancy outfit
for one, choose a more casual
outfit for your other one.

• Try to stay away from fabrics that are
prone to wrinkles or tend to cling
to you in unflattering ways.

• Incorporate a variety of colors that are consistent
with your everyday style, so you don't end up
with four outfits based around
different shades of blue.

• Avoid big logos/words and neon colors.

• Avoid too much solid black. If you do choose
to wear black, be sure to break it up with
other colors, patterns, and accessories.

• Choose flattering styles and fits that complement
your natural shape. Boxy tops and dresses,
that hide your shape, should be avoided.

• Be sure to properly accessorize each outfit, but
don't go overboard. Cute hats, scarves,
statement necklaces, bracelets, and rings
will add a finishing touch to your outfits.

• Don't be afraid of patterns! Subtle, cute patterns
that aren't overwhelming photograph
beautifully and will add a unique
flair to your images.

• If you'll be using any props such as sports gear,
musical instruments, etc. be sure that
they won't clash with your outfit.
Nails
• Make sure to have a manicure no
more than the day before.

Hair and Makeup
• If you want a flawless look without stress,
hire a professional!
•Drink plenty of water the week before your session.

And lastly, be sure to get plenty of sleep the night before your session!
